FROM CHRISTMAS WREATH TO WINTER WREATH

Happy Friday!
This week just went by so fast for me. I have been trying to catch up all week long, but I am finally there and today
will be my "play day" :) Maybe a little shopping, or getting a haircut, hmmm... I will see where the day takes me. :)

But before all that happens, I wanted to share with you a short post on how I was able to use the same wreath on our front door that I used during the holiday season just by making a couple of changes.

OUR MANTLE NOWADAYS

I have to tell you, after all the Christmas decor came down, I didn't have a plan. Nothing!
Had no idea how to decorate our family room and mantle.

It did stayed empty for several days until I decided to stop making my life so hard and just use some of the
decor items I already had in the room and work around it.

TUESDAYS AT OUR HOME #198 & FEATURES

WELCOME EVERYONE!

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your wonderful posts.
I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was spent mostly indoors due to the bad weather we had all weekend.
35/40 mph winds, with occasional gusts of 50 mph winds was no joke. Saturday night our outdoor furniture was flying around the yard like if they were made out of paper.
But we can't complain. I know this storm has left behind lots of damage and injuries in several southern states.
I pray everyone is ok.

Now it is time to start another party, but before we do, lets visit some of last week features.

Sara at Twelve On Main built a gorgeous Upholstered X Bench.

Debbie at Debbie-Dabble Blog  decorated her front porch for winter beautifully.

Love this recipe by Kimberly at Lou Lou Girls for easy Loaded Baked Potato Soup.

Rose at Rose Bakes shared a wonderful recipe for Neapolitan Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Michelle at The Painted Hinge gave her corner fireplace a beautiful makeover.

Another great recipe, this one for easy and light Chicken Salad, was shared by Sannah at My Suburban Kitchen .

A VEGETABLE STAND FOR THE PANTRY

Every year after the holidays I like to give my pantry a good cleaning and organize all our supplies.
A couple of years ago I added some plastic bins from Dollar Tree and it has proven to be the best thing I ever did.
The pantry has stayed very well organized since then.

OUR LAST DIY OF 2016 & THE FIRST OF 2017

Hello everyone. I hope your week is going well.
I have been on a little blogging break trying to get our home back to normal after the holidays.

Don't let my tittle fool you, today I am not sharing two projects with you, just a very long one. :)
You see, being the "different kind of people" we are, we decided to start a new home project two days
before Christmas. Are we the only ones?
I think I already know the answer to that. LOL
And of course, it was 2017 before our project was finished. :)

Well, my husband had the week off for the holidays and we didn't have any company coming, so what better
time to start a new project.

TUESDAYS AT OUR HOME #196 & FEATURES

WELCOME EVERYONE!

I hope you are doing well and staying warm.
Like many of you, we also had a very cold weekend in Texas. We woke up Saturday morning at 21 degrees.
Not a rare number for most of the country, but for us here in the south it was a bit much. :)
We are supposed to reach 80 degrees again by wednesday, so go figure.

Before we start a new link party, I would love if you visit some of the features from last week Tuesdays At Our Home.

Nicki at Sweet Parrish Place changed the look of her hallway by building a rustic wood wall.

Ashley at Simply Designing came up with a wonderful idea on how to make a Watercolor Dipped Vase.

Brett at This Mama Loves shared a great recipe for Weight Watchers Tortellini soup. Perfect for this time of the year.

I love this tips by Premeditated Leftovers  on how to make boxed cake mix taste homemade.

Keri Lyn at All Because She Saved shared a wonderful recipe for hot spinach and artichoke dip.

Daune at Cottage In The Oaks put together a great collection of her top post of 2016.

Wendi at H20 Bungalow added a beautiful built in wine cooler to her kitchen.
