CRAFT ROOM PROGRESS

We are getting there!
I am so excited about finishing this space!
I can't wait to have it all done and start enjoying it.

Today, I am just sharing with you our progress.
We still have a while to go, but I am hoping to start moving in there
all my supplies very soon.

The new floors are finished.
I had this rug in my storage closet.
Nor sure yet if I will keep it in there.
But, I love my new hardwood floor!

Painted the big cabinet I had in there in white and, also, painted the hardware.
It used to be an old DVD cabinet and I plan to use it now
to store some of my craft supplies.

I already know how I want to decorate the room, so I have
been "collecting" some  decor items.

My husband just finished building the brackets for the shelves this past weekend.
We were able to get them all painted and mounted on the wall.
We also cut all the shelving to size and sanded everything.
I hope to get them painted this week.

Didn't he do a great job on those brackets?
Remember my inspiration picture?
I think they are pretty close!

That"s it for today!
Will keep you posted!

DINNER FOR TWO

Can you guys believe is already almost the end of January?
With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, I decided to do a little
Valentine's tablescape.

The good new is that I used everything I already had at home.
That storage closet can come in handy sometimes! LOL

Crystal is from Germany and the dishes are the "remains" of an old set I used
to have and used for everyday meals.
The red chargers are from Kirklands.
The lace tablecloth was a gift from a friend many years ago.

The flowers, candles and little paper cutouts also
came out of my "treasure closet".

Small ceramic heart boxes I bought from the Dollar store last year
and the bottle of champagne has been sitting in my cupboard for a year now. LOL
We don't drink much, actually, none at all.

All I added this year was the little candy jar with the word "love" on it.
I found it at the Dollar store and I thought it was just too cute.

I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing weekend!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

MY $3.24 WREATH!

I get so inspired by looking at all the blogs and their beautiful projects!
I see many people making such beautiful wreaths!

Since I like to change my wreath on the front door quite often, I have also been making
my own for a while now, to go with the different seasons, but I had never
made one for the inside of the house.

I had everything on hand to make this one that I decided to put on my pantry door, just needed the wreath itself, which I bought at Hobby Lobby for $3.24.
Very cheap project!

And I think the colors on the wreath go well with the decor
items already on the butler's pantry.
What do you think?

So cheap and so simple!
I hope you all are having a great week!
